Open House

I failed to take a single picture take night at your Second Annual Christmas Open House! BBOOOOOO!!!!!

there is something extremely fun and terribly frightening when you invite 350-400 people from church over to your house for a party. it is fun, thinking about all who might come and there is such joy in having people in one's home. it is frightening not knowing HOW many people will show up (if anyone!).

well, it was totally worth it and tons of fun!!

i will describe it to you seeing that i did not take pictures...
we set the backyard up pretty kid friendly. put lanterns on the archway where the grape vines grow, a bounce house, fire, table with coloring and such, drink and snacks for the kids outside...
all the food went on the dinning room table. fire in the fireplace.

there are days i feel like my house is WAY too big (especially when cleaning it), but last night i saw all the benefits of this house... the size is perfect for about 100 people at once, the design works perfect for traffic flow and seating... so thankful for my house.

Even more thankful for the people God puts in our lives.

What a fun night!!! The kids had so much fun that they are asking when we are going to do it again. :)
