Bedtime Stories

Every night after we read a million books to Benjamin he asks us to tell him a story. Well, it is never just one story. Last night he decided to tell me a few stories. Here are two of them...

"Once a time. There was a monster living on the big bunk bed. And Na Na and I were in the bottom with a bear. This happened. It did. And we all went to sleep. After the day was all done we woke up, got dressed, and went outside. Then God told me to get on a bus. So, I said “Yes, God.” Me obeyed. We went in the bus to school. Me, Na Na, Mommy, Daddy, and my brother John-John. We went to school all day. That’s what happened. God said to get on the bus. And I said “Yes God.”

“Once a time daddy and me were fighting a bear. A big bear. We got our guns and shot the bear. And then Poppy had a gun too. We all shot the bear. Then Mommy came and she had a gun, pulling it out and shot the bear. We got that bear. We shot it and the Monster shot it too. Then the monster wanted to play in a band with me. So, I played the guitar (hotar), Daddy played the guitar, Gaga played the guitar, you played the piano, Poppy played the drums, and uncle Luke played the guitar. The monster played a horn. We played in the band. And then Daniel came out of the lion pit and played with us. And Joseph did too. We all sang and played in the band.”

(We then talked all about heaven and we will all be able to play in a band together and sing to Jesus! He liked that.)
