Life

Life has just been busy. No time for blogging this week! Jill & Rick have been in town and the boys have been wild with their cousin Brandt! He is super cute. Thankful for Family!

Benjamin's family school project this month was to disguise Tom the turkey. He needs to hide so he doesn't end up on our dinner plate for thanksgiving! :) so we disguised him as a ninja, hiding behind a fence, with a sign that reads: "turkey for sale (which is crossed out)."  written next to it: "beware of ninja!" Thankful for Family FUN Projects!!!

Benjamin also decided to place a candy bar in the rocks to see how fast the ants would eat chocolate!! Pic below. Thankful for his beautiful, curious mind!

Sat and sun the men spent working on our tree house. Soooo cute. Sooo able and willing to send us to the ER! Ah!!! Thankful for really awesome dads & our new neighbor who happens to be an ER doctor!! (poor guy, we have already run his door bell twice!!)

Speaking of the ER... Brandt decided to play under the guest room bed and devour a small yummy looking pill! Oh yes. He spit some out but we quickly realized by his stumbling gate and lack of communication that we needed to seek help. All ended up ok after a few hours in the ER! Goodness!!! Thankful for nephews (even booger ones that eat random things on the floor)!

Yesterday was hilarious. Kind of. OK not really hilarious! A small scratch on my finger suddenly developed into an angry wound!!! Like the red creeping down my hand kind of infection. I took baby and Ben with me to the doc. Ben threw up in the garbage can while baby screamed. Aaahhhhh! Doc freaked out about infection. Called Josh to get kids. In doc offices from 9:30am to 4:30. Thankful for IV antibiotics and My nurses (who got coffee, donuts, and bagels upon today's visit)!!

I want pics of the chocolate covered ants and your infected scratch.

Haven't asked recently, so, have you lost your cell phone recently?

Was your text to Claire during Brandt's episode? We were talking with her when you wrote.

Wow, sounds like quite a week! So glad you had the fun of a visit from your sister and her family! Benjamin is just too cute with his candy bar. :-) So glad that the antibiotics started working so quickly.
