Today was difficult. We met with the oncologist in the morning & though he was wonderful I totally felt the weight of what lay ahead. They sent me to the hospital to get a port for chemotherapy. Yuck! Ignorant as to what the port actually involved I was shocked when 6 hours later I left the hospital totally drugged up and sore. (i had driven myself thinking it was no big deal). Let's not even talk about the cost... Wow! :) and that is with good insurance!
Quick catch up: chemo starts Monday. Surgery will be postponed until Jan.
