Roasted Green Beans

This is a fast and family friendly way to fix green beans. We call them "French Fried Beans" and Benjamin eats them up with his fingers like French Fries. They are good cold or hot.

Ingredients:

* 2 lbs fresh green bean (trimmed)
* Salt & pepper (to taste)
* olive oil (1-2 T)

Directions:

* Preheat oven to 400
* Drizzle olive oil on beans until lightly covered, toss
* Add salt and pepper (to taste), toss
* place beans on a cookie sheet or jelly roll pan in a single layer
* Roast for 20-25 minutes, turning after 15 minutes, until beans are fairly brown in spots and somewhat shriveled.
